Double Page Flat plans

Out of these two flat plans i more likely to go for the second idea with the brown background. The reason for this is i want my double page spread to be very clear with not too much of writing as my target audience is 16-20 years old. I would have a gradient background with my model blending in the background taking up most of the left hand side of the double page. I would also include a quote to make it stand out with 2 columns of text.

Contents page flat plans

For my contents page I want to use the idea of regulars and features. I want my contents page to be clear, easy to understand and attractive. I might go for the first contents page layout with the black background as I want my readers to be engaged with the images directly. If i have to go for the second idea with the white background I would ensure my main model image is very strong and attracts the audience.

Front Cover Flat Plans

These are two ideas for my front cover that I am planning to use. The reason i decided to make them very simple is because I want my main model image to take over most of the space so the readers are more attracted by the image and not the text itself. I would have a limited amount of text on my front cover as I want my magazine cover to be visually attractive.
